Put my hands on an LVC x Aero Collab finally for a steal:

This is a Small size and it’s only 21” in the back which is 3” less than I would normally specify although I think it still somehow works. There is a noticeable deep in the front. IMHO this jacket has the best aviator-style designed front amongst Aero’s offering. The best back has to be the Hooch Hauler. Which is how I spec’ed my next Aero ;P

Purchased this Horween horsehide half-belt from Mark of NorShor Leathers this week. This is my first modern made leather jacket (I've only collected/worn vintage jackets), so I'm excited to see how modern compares to vintage - based on the photos, I'm sure I'll love it once it arrives.

Mark was an absolute gentleman to deal with - highly recommend him!

Looks great. Always wondered why half belts have the vertical creases on the belt. My ELMC half belt does the same thing.

These are because the "belt" isn't glued down, but sewn along the edges, and the jacket is no longer flat when you wear it. The puckers are from the leather stretching and conforming around the curvature of your back.

Would’ve been a mistake to pass that one up, and in all my time here I have not seen a jacket quite like it. I can’t wait to see fit pics once it arrives.
