How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

No jackets on the way at the moment. This is only due to a Herculean display of will power on my part. There’s a jacket on Aeros sale page with my exact measurements (exactly the same as my hooch hauler) in a pattern that I’ve told myself that I will get in a year from now. I have the money to buy it right now, but I promised myself not to buy anything more for a year. Am I making the right decision here? Probably. If it’s still on the sale page in a couple of weeks, will I buy it anyway? Very probable.

Money comes and money goes, but you can always get more. A jacket, however, with dimensions that fits to the nuts...

Do it!

Just bought this LL Bean A2 off eBay for $75. It's my first A2: (seller's photos)

It's the version with the 3-piece back constructed of imported goatskin. The seller pointed out a small knick in the leather on the collar, but it doesn't appear to be too noticeable outside of the close up shots provided of it.

This one is calling to me. I’ve been eyeing Thedis jackets for a while now and he’s got a lot of really nice looking patterns. But nothing that really pulled me in, compared to Aeros offering. That is until he started teasing his new collection. Those deerskin jackets, all of them look absolutely amazing, must haves!

Those LL Beans can be great quality, I have a shearling Flying Tigers from the 90s, which has good goatskin, a lamb mouton collar and is shearling lined, all for a fraction of the price charged by companies favoured here. This doesn't stop me wanting an Aero Thunderbay in black goatskin with natural shearling... kind of like a Flying Tigers now I think about it...

Thanks to TFL Classifieds and @jimmer_5, I'm officially done buying jackets ;). This one couldn't have worked out better in terms of fit and is a makeup I've wanted to try but didn't have the patience for custom. Dark Seal Vicenza with a lightweight wool lining in Aero's Buco J100 pattern is exactly as I'd have spec'd it.

I wasn't sure about a 46 BR but it ended up working so well! Never say never but I can say, I've filled all the slots I wanted to fill so I'm good for the time being.

Walnut HH 30's half belt, ELMC Californian 46L

And lastly, black Vanson Mercury in firenze cowhide 46

I was reading up on the LL Bean on here last night before purchasing and it does sound like a good jacket. LL Bean is a great company with very well made products that I trust. My mother has a pair of 6 inch duck boots from the 80s she uses for winter boots and they're still as strong today as they were when she bought them.

I have one that was made inPakistan, it is one of my favorites! Hell of a lot cheaper than some of the higher end ones you see here!
