How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

[Boyo]

Its your jacket... stick it!

Unless you bought it with specific intentions of selling it.. do what you want with it..

Here’s a question for you all:
How do you feel about pins in leather jackets?
As much as I feel about my new highwayman, the Jacketeer in me wonders if I put two small holes in the jacket will it decrease the resale value?

That's what vests are for.

I would pass on a jacket with pin holes. It will decrease the value.

[jacketjunkie]

Pin holes in the collar I'd be like oh well as long as it reflects on the price.. pin holes in the chest area, I'm out.

It's an incredibly cool pin though. I'd put it on one of my jackets I knew I weren't ever gonna sell.

It’s 1930s Navajo.

I need something like that for my IH trucker...another benefit for denim, pin holes don't exist!

[HoosierDaddy]

Abate pin on my riding jacket that I never plan to sell. If I change my mind the pin will go with it.

Yes, it will decrease the resale value significantly, so you should refuse the idea and sell this badge to me!) Cheers!)

That’s a really cool pin. Stick it on a denim jacket!

Agreed, cool pin but don't ruin the jacket.

[handymike]

Thanks for the input guys, I’ll hold off on the pin for now. If the jacket lasts a year, I’ll put it on.

[ton312]

Well on the opposite end of handymikes success story we have this green machine. It’s about 3” too short in the body for me which is a shame. The leather is interesting. If anyone wants it it’s $35 shipped. Otherwise it goes to Goodwill.

[handymike]

Bummer Tony!
It is pretty cool...how long is it?

24.5”! I wish I could do it. No chance. Another live and learn. As if I haven’t had enough LOL. Man 2” more and I could totally deal. I’ve already got it bagged for drop off with other stuff at goodwill. At least it was a low impact loss. I could easily put down a pizza of greater cost.

[handymike]

Ha! That’s my length...but I need to pay @technovox for sumthin’

[ton312]

Somebody shopping the thrift at Clyborn and Ashland is about to come up. TBH I knew it wouldn’t fit but didn’t expect the length to be the issue. This is the type stuff that drove me to denim LOL.

Darn - that would have been a REALLY cool jacket, ton.

I just decided on this brown Vicenza half-belt from Thurston Bros - no waiting time. Size 42 with my measurements, so I hope it will be ok.

I hope Vicenza is a medium weight hide and not too much heavier than goat.

[handymike]

Waitaminute...that has a collar .

[nick123]

Nice roll you've been on Seb!

Yep!
It’s good to see you back in the game.

Just sold my B-6 and ordered my new love:
Bootlegger, Cordovan CXFQHH with shearling lining!
Can't wait to beat it in!
The timing could be wrong, receiving it in summer...
