My quest for the perfect vintage motorcycle jacket continues. Just bought this off eBay, 1970s Langlitz Columbia. Fingers crossed it fits

I am looking at this one. Lining looks pretty beat up and it’s got a missing button, and I don’t know if it fits (just asked the seller for measurements).

It’s pretty cheap though (51 usd) and I think it looks really cool. Might be worth it?

Damn, nice catch! Very decent of Giles not to consider the 7 minute late offer. 22" PTP though... can I save a first spot in the queue incase it does not fit? Not saying I hope it won't work but ey, 22" ptp is what I wear and going by pictures you are twice my size

I’d have thought the same but all my IH gear measures out like that! It’s about 1/2” less in the chest than my 526pj. I probably won’t be able to button the top two buttons but I can live with that.

7 seconds! But it's only right.

Also, Iron Heart's P2P is a bit... I don't know. I can't say they're measuring it wrong but it's definitely not the same as with leather. My trucker jacket was listed as 21.3" P2P and it's actually 22.5".

I'm stunned again! Just bought another custom jacket from the same seller. He told me last night he was putting up another for sale. I ask for a pic. Today he sent me a message he posted it. I went looked and bought.

Both the jackets are customs, but in my size. I know the company and know they should fit. Both may be just a bit bold for me. I'm sure they will draw attention, may just be odd Ducks. I doubt I would have ordered either given how these stand out from the crowd.

Fortunately I have a 24 month same as cash deal through my paypal card. If I don't want them I'm confident others will.

Should be here end of next week.

Excellent! Lost Worlds (very) heavy Bison. The lost jacket is horsehide, but interesting. Just wait and see if it turns up.

No pics (I know ........... or it didn't happen!) Nothing on the way but an original A-2 and mid 1950's G-1 headed off for refurbishment to become wearers - new knits and in the case of the Foster G-1, new zipper and lining.

Awesome catch Gamma...I think you'll agree that Bates take on the CR is the cream of the crop. I've owned quite a few and they are something very special indeed.

Thanks! I know you love Bates jackets and that was a factor in my purchase. I believe @technovox is also a fan and has an unlined version.
