That's nice! Looks old. 50's?
Zipper looks like late 40s on this oneThat's nice! Looks old. 50's?
This one hasn't shipped yet. Lining is trashed, the cuff adjustments look added on. No label. Nice back. I'm seeing 50s horsehide on this one. 38/40 size.

Yes, just looked the speedway. Adjustments a bit higher. Very much like LW Test back designLooks like the inspiration behind Aeros Speedway...
Sorta depends. Neither cost much. They probably won't fit, so they may move on.Impressive on both accounts. More for the museum.

Yes, I own a Test. Everyone I have seen is the 4+ounce leather. I would like to see one in a lighter weight.Funny you should mention that jacket. This one, correct? I've been keeping an eye on it:

Classy, yet subtle, and built like a tank.. My size too. Perhaps I'll be lucky and hit a scratch-ticket this week or something. Lol!
I can attest to the Aero goatskin being great. I've got a 30's halfbelt modded with shoulder gussets and some features from their cossack in seal goat and the hide is brilliant. After about 3 years of wear it's extremely supple, almost like heavy cloth, but it's still entirely waterproof and incredibly damage resistant. Noticeably more so than the FQHH that I have.Have a new (to me) addition on the way.... An Aero AN-J-3 (AAF version). THIS is the AN-J-3 I've been wanting for years. I've had others, but most have fallen short of my expectations. Aero is known for some great goatskin, and from what I see, this jacket won't disappoint me. The condition is stated as 'virtually unworn', and the goat, 'sumptuous'...
From what I gather, Aero patterned both their AAF and USN version AN-J-3's directly from originals, and does look very close to pics of originals I have, as well as looking more detailed than other repros I've owned in the past. Tagged a size 44, the numbers look bang-on for me:
