How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Cross zip by a maker called Mosquito finally arrived from Ukraine. No bullet holes tho I'm not sure there would've been any, how thick the leather on this thing is. But thick leather alone don't mean nothing if it's not nice and you be the judge if this qualifies as nice leather. . .

Dunno what the deal is with this maker but they somehow built a top of the like Perfecto and I mean, some of the best I've ever handled in every possible way, and decided to name their company after the worst, most obnoxious pest there is so I can't imagine anything could've saved them but... The jacket is insane. Vanson grade built / Bates precision & features / Schott cool.

I'll take some more photos of the whole thing later but it's so well cut, all the right details at the right places... And we're talking leather lined pockets, Talon tear-drop pulls on all the pockets, heavily insulated lining, etc.

I can't precisely date it but I'd say early 70's just by the hardware.

New arrival, 60’s Levi’s cow hide suede Trucker

I’ve been trying to get hold of one of these for well over year, trying to find one in a large has been such a challenge. Nearly all of them for sale are in small sizes?. Anyway, the wait is over.

No need to look further in that style. Perfect.

I do believe that leather could withstand a few rounds from a Kalashnikov. Nice find.

Gorgeous colour. I'm more and more feeling the pull of this sort of mid-length leather.... Something gloriously classy and yet utilitarian about that design. What hide is it?

Not leather but at less than 1/2 price ........ Levis Made And Crafted Type II Trucker

I like this a lot. Are those exterior pockets original to a Levis design, or is this a creative reinterpretation? Look much more useful than handwarmers!

Russet Badalassi - I think that the length of coats like the Work Coat and the Maxwell is great.

It's a cut of which I didn't used to be a fan, but I'm really feeling it these days. I think what started to bring me round to it was a great one worn by one of the characters in The Man in the High Castle.

I don’t have anything on the go from them, but it seems like an interesting approach, maybe a bit more agricultural than the more obsessive Japanese makers, but they seem well made to this know nothing. Are you guys familiar with them?

couple of Fieldmasters on the way. Both size 44 and appear to be quite nice condition. I have owned several of the square pocket jackets, but have not seen one for some time. They came in Horsehide and steerhide. I know the square pockets are made by Appalachian. I'm guessing the A2 is also.

How do you do it?!?
Semi-regular queries on Buyee Japan Auction, Mercari, Rakuten, etc with search terms like "Electric Leather Studio" and "Mushmans". New listings are pretty uncommon, but at the same time, it seems like high end leather jackets are tough to move in the Japanese second hand market, so they tend to sit for a long time.
