So annoying... the new jacket has since arrived at my local sorting facility, but I'm not allowed to pick it up myself. Tomorrow will not be delivered and from Monday I'm on the road. I.e. I have to wait until Thursday... so sad.

It is definitely Horween CXL horsehide but I’m not sure if it’s Natural. I just know that my girlfriend and I really like the sample John sent. I was surprised because all of my other jackets from him have been Shinki and I was expecting to go that route again.

Yep. It has that exact same label/ I replaced the buttons with riveted metal buttons. I better make sure I didn’t donate it first but it’s this one:

If I still have I will shoot it your way. That way you are assured at least one will fit !

Y'know, realistically, you put on the best jacket in the world & who's gonna see it? Coupla people on the street and that's it. Wherever you go to, you'll gonna have to take it off. With leather pants, no such issues.

That is a very good point, jacket goes off, I suspect if you wear them everyday, they will patina quicket than any jacket you have as well.
