Well, I’m in talks with Dave Sheeley right now and will likely place an order with Double Helix next month: two, never mind one leather jackets was outside my world view just a few months ago : )

You probably should’ve kept it that way. Sadly, there’s no going back. Once you take the plunge…it’s pretty much over. Kick back and enjoy the flight! You will reach your destination in approximately never. At least the scenery is good! LOL. Sounds like you’ve got some good stuff in the works!

Yeah it’s fun except for not being able to try anything on except by purchasing it, usually in circumstances that foreclose on any financially viable return…

HPA shipped the Eastman Ostmann in black I ordered back in January... Currently it's stuck in a warehouse in Ontario since Oct 3. Most expensive I've spent on a leather jacket and my first go at a non-knit cuffs and waistband style

Jacket itch came around and so I decided to try out this waxed Type 2 from the Chinese market (not sure if Cidu is the actual company that makes these). @Marc mndt tipped me off to these when he made a Type II post way back in January. Hopefully I get the right size and color, haha.

My phone lit up with notifications today. All of them from DHL that a shipment has left Aero Leather and will be delivered to my office on Friday*. Stay tuned!

*Unless DHL does what they did last time. I watched them drive right by my building around 3:30pm. A moment later, “Business closed” appeared on tracking and I had to pick up the package at their office the next day. Hopefully they’ll deliver to my office this time.

DHL came through and delivered a day early. I once again own an Aero B-6!

I grabbed this off their stock page. Has a small scratch on the left shoulder but otherwise is pristine. Due to the scratch the jacket was nicely discounted.

Fit is great except for a smidge of tightness around my stomach. The shearling is as soft as can be. I almost forgot that B6 shearling is shorter than the B3. This is a difference I happily welcome for cooler, but not frigid, weather.

I’m usually smiling in my pics. But this time I couldn’t tell if my phone was capturing it or not. Hence my lack of smile in one of them haha.
