How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I love the elmc californian. They've become pretty expensive though. Eastman is now asking £1200. I'm not saying that's too expensive, but only a few years back they were a few hundred less. Made me look elsewhere. Field Leathers seems to make a pretty decent halfbelt.

Something tells me your changes will become the new standard for Field. I feel they really makes a more coherent design.

It's cowhide. This is more of a "testing the waters" kind of jacket for me. Before I join the big boys league.

Relax man, it’s completely normal. With my first couple jackets I was nervous about the order because I wanted to make sure I got everything exactly right. I went over all of the details repeatedly and sweated every last one right up until the day I had the jackets in hand. As it turned out I didn’t get everything exactly right, and I think that is part of the learning process.
This is easy for me to say since I have ordered many custom jackets since then. It’s natural to feel apprehensive, but remember this is also supposed to be fun!

On my first nice jacket, the feeling was...I just spent a shocking amount of cash ($325 at the time) on this thing? Better be PERFECT!

I think you’ll be very pleased, if the photos are any indication. TBH I expect Shawn to exceed the original in my case. The RRL stuff I’ve handled has been...not impressive to say the least. I like what I’ve seen from 5 star so far. Quite a bit.

It will most likely ship tomorrow if you are happy with the jacket/measurements. My seal brown trucker just landed in LA so I should be getting it soon.
