How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Original 40’s?-50’s? Windward. I’ve tried several repros/interpretations of this design from Vanson, the Gambler/Arrow and Raid. I always wanted an original. I put the fit probability at 89.576% given the measurements. The funny thing is that I’m not overly concerned about the fit. I just want to experience this jacket. It’s loaded with French seams and the little details, like the false button cuffs look so cool. With any luck it should be here early next week.

@ton312 I really like this jacket design (so far I've only seen the Eastman repro version of this jacket and was close to buy one some time ago) and I hope it fits you better than expected. Condition looks quite good from pics. Looking forward to fit pics.

Drove there again today when I went out to buy lunch, cant make it before the long holiday break, but i tried it on again, a bit softer today and i can obviously ride in it, from various hand position the sleeve doesnt ride up and perfectly seals, i get right decission on having this one end right at the wrist, any longer and my wrist wont be able to move. I love how the upper sleeve already almost drapes
@navetsea Really really nice and unique design. I've been following your "project" for some time and I think the result is excellent as most of your other jackets are (especially the blue one).

That is really cool! It’ll look amazing when it’s done!
Thank you friend, I hope it will age a little as it is hanging there for 2 weeks.
Delayed gratification, you will enjoy it more!
you have become a master at this, you have undelivered finished jackets in how many continents now 2 continents? how do you do that man

Thanks buddy I really appreciate it, Red and you are probably the bravest jacket color and style tasters across this board

:D

I totally disagree as far as „bravest jacket colour and style taster“ is concerned.... I‘m sure I can never compete with @red devil :D

I ordered this from Bally 40% off Bull leather bikers style. I have been wanting this jacket for about 6 months but always scoffed at the price. At 40% it's still not exactly good value but for some reason I love the look of the jacket.

Very interested to hear your thoughts, once it arrives. I have handled some of their jackets in various airports. Fashion-stuff, and I really don’t mean this in a condescending way. At a price of two Himel’s, I am not personally interested.
Bought a pair of their 1970ish retro-sneakers (“Vita-Parcour”) two years ago and was MOST impressed with the quality. They were made from yellow calf-suede, and you wouldn’t believe the amount of compliments from beautiful ladies I got for them. Never happens with any of my jackets...

At 40% off it doesn't sound that bad value either, looks pretty well made. Curious to hear your thoughts :)

I don't know where you got the idea of it being the price of 2 himels, they're actually cheaper on average

Edit: take a look here https://www.bally.co.uk/en_gb/men/ready-to-wear/leather/

Okay, perhaps a SLIGHT exaggeration...:)

The jacket of RiceKnight retails at GBP 2.200, so we are talking serious money here...

Most of Bally's leather jackets are lamb skin, but sometimes they do something more substantial like this one in bull hide. I almost bought a lamb skin one in Switzerland at Christmas sale, but I thought it wasn't worth the price even on sale and ended up buying a Himel jacket instead that time actually.

Hey, RiceKnight, I hope I did not come across as lecturing you or judging your decision. I certainly did not mean to, and I have my own share of fashion-stuff.
I would never question personal taste, and as I said I find Bally makes a high-quality product.

I think fashion stuff has its place when unique and good quality. I have just one piece - a Dolce and Gabbana cafe racer made from indestructible kangaroo hide. Love it to death, will never sell it. But the MSRP was crazy, about $2000 fifteen years ago, I got it used for $250. :)
