Call me crazy, I just scored Vanson Hardcore Highwayman after talked to Constantin from Vanson, he weighted the jacket and it's solid 8 lbs.

I will take credit for planting that seed in your head. Did not take long to marinate. Lol. Awesome jacket, no doubt.

Hardcore is my favorite in their Rocker line. It's the best of the bunch. Less flare than R'n'R, equally functional.

You can get vintage ones in your size for dirt cheap Craig with no damage. In great condition on Ebay. They're rarely over 100$ if you have patience, different colours too.

I had a 689H for years. I loved it but it was one size too large so I always fought with it and sold it a few months ago. Great jacket.

It has quilted insulation and I wore it as a winter jacket in -20C Canadian winters so it may be a bit warm for Australia.
