Perhaps I simply missed it somewhere else in the lounge, but as my collection of new and vintage caps grows, my issue of how to store them is becoming a little bit serious. Here in Sydney we can have some seasonal trouble with wool-eating moths, so hanging them on a wall is a no-no, and I don't have ready access to a cedar cupboard.
Living in a city means that space is at a premium, so whatever ingenious solution I come up with will have to be highly ergonomic...
Regardless of the moth issue, which isn't emergency-grade, how can one safely and securely store a few dozen beautiful flat caps/newsboy caps, etc? Hat jacks cost around $50 each in Australia, so it's not economical to fill each cap with one.
Love to hear how my fellow cap-o-philes tackle this subject!
