how do I make a sharks gill ribbon

Hi everyone this is my first post. I just bought my first fedora. Its a vintage 50s stetson royal deluxe open road. And the ribbon is worn through. I'm wanting to put a new ribbon on. And the sharks gill is my favorite. Can anyone help me out on how to make that ribbon style?

Fold press stitch,fold press stitch etc....... Until you like it it's one of my favorite's also! Just do it. It'll work out! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Best of luck
