When I was attending Portland State University in my late 40's I was continually being mistaken as a professor. (Tweed jackets with suede elbow patches will do that).
Since you'll be dressed in a sports jacket and slacks, you should be viewed as "professorial" rather than a student. You are there to advance your comprehension and knowledge with a far more advanced and stable outlook on life. This is as it should be.
Yeh in some way being mistaken as a professor is kind of what I fear. Ironicall,y if I keep in mind that a hatted man can easily stand out I do usually prefer to stay in the shadow.
Anyways, this should be interesting
