Great news. Can't wait to see the picturesexcitement overflow.. i have a tracking number for my hat !
Haven't seen a picture of it yet.
Here is a picture of the hat. Looks pretty great!
Hopefully will receive it in a couple of days.
Well, it's not a deal-breaker for me. I would not know the difference anyway.
That looks good. Show us the pics you are wearing it (when it has arrived) ok? Congrats on your new Hornskov. I understand what Brent says about the petersham vs grosgrain. Hornskov told us not to use petersham anymore and only grosgrain. When i looked at your hat it is petersham. For me it's no dealbreaker either, but for some of us it is. I think it's a great hat and when you receive it, i think you will love the felt no...i'm sure about that hahaHere is a picture of the hat. Looks pretty great!

I wonder it also. A friend of mine received his Hornskov couple of weeks ago and also had a petersham hatband. He also doesn't care, so it's oke, but if you are 1 of the 100 who does, like you, then it's an issue....I honestly wonder if they know what petersham is. It truly is a small thing and I bet not one in 100 of their customers cares…unfortunately, I'm that one.

I had a conversation with the lady at Hornskov. Her explanation was they could not source good woven edge grosgrain so they had no choice but to use Petersham. I thought it a lame excuse as they don't offer a very broad range of ribbon colours so surely there is a source out there somewhere.I honestly wonder if they know what petersham is. But why do they tell us then that they do NOT use petersham if they told you the do? I don't get it anymore ..I had a conversation with the lady at Hornskov. That aspect remains a mystery. My main point is they do know the differenceBut why do they tell us then that they do NOT use petersham if they told you the do? I don't get it anymore ..
I think My communication with her was prior to that announcement. If they didn’t have a source for woven edge grosgrain I wonder why they made an announcement that they had discontinued petersham?
I have yet to see a sample but Guy Morse Brown sells a limited colour selection of grosgrain that is supposedly quite good....not that expensive either so there are at least one source close to HornskovI think My communication with her was prior to that announcement.
