From the recent Stefan @steur haul, I'm so happy to be the new owner of this Mossant Homburg. The French hat makers are often overlooked, but show their shine when they're shown.

Stetson St. Regis, olive color, 2 7/8” brim, 5 1/2” crown. The only flaw I can find is a faint silver dollar-sized stain on the brim that I think will come out. Felt is soft and pliable, and even though I’m not really a homburg guy, I think this one works for me.

Nice catch and you'll find that homburgs are more versatile than you'd think. Certainly in a different colour than black you can wear them pretty much formal or informal. And they are addictive:)

I have a homburg to post as well. It's been a while. East sea trading has been revived and the first deal was a hat exchange between Oslo and Volendam. Not a Norwegian hat, but an American one. Thanks Panos @PanosChris !
Stetson 3X beaver homburg in dark brown. Size 7 (56) with the brim at 6cm and the crown 11cm at the center dent. Usually these brown homburgs have a lighter brown colour and I have several of those. I really like this darker shade. It doesn't say St Regis on the sweatband, but the blocknumber is the same: F 296. I think this one is from the early sixties.

Fantastic find Snow. As Stefan said they can be more versatile than you would think. With a little pinch they do nicely casually with even jeans and a T-shirt.

P. & C. Habig Wien "Export Qualität", early 1950s. The felt is heavy in weight but still easily hand creases. The sweatband is really fantastic with very nice P. & C. Habig Wien stamping. As usually the overall quality and form are of the highest order. This hat was made for the famous A. Breiter München hat store (still in business today).

Nice find, Steve. It's been while since we've seen a Habig.
