True, but I've been searching for white belts that are 7/8" wide: no more, no less. Whip belts are cool, but not wide enough for the look I've been trying to achieve.

.

I have a handful of belts that are this width...I loathe to admit it, but I found them in the Ladies Belts sections at a Filene's Basement a few years back. I felt ridiculous trying them on, but hey, they are nice belts.

Funny ... I also used to look for white belts in the *ahem* ladies' section of thrift stores and vintage clothing shops. I never did find one that was long enough. Now, I'm glad about it! (Not too sure I'd have been happy wearing a woman's belt)

No shame in searching the women's departments. Some items are close enough that one can hardly tell the difference. In fact, some women's clothing is more like vintage men's clothing than modern men's stuff is. Not loose, saggy, and baggy, etc. Granted, this doesn't work for most stuff, as the cut is different for anatomical reasons and the things button on the wrong side. But sometimes.

Okay, smart guy, just try to match a pair of white bucks with a brown belt. ;)

.

I don't wear belts anyway. I would think that brown or tan would be just fine though.
Now everybody sing: "The Love Boat......"
"Hey Isaac! Pour me an Old Fashioned. Where did you get that belt?" :p
Hey, better than raiding the women's underwear department. :eusa_doh:

Regards,

J

Ha, ha, ha! This thread has gone terribly astray...along as it doesn't turn into a 'guys in girl's garb' thread.

. . . not that there's anything wrong with that.
