There's a pretty tasty Wolverine up on Himel's IG today...
Lol -- just posted a photo on Dude's thread. I think it might be his.
Aye, it's by far my favourite from Himel, and among top three all time. Please post as many photos as you can, once it arrives!
I've been considering a Himel Canuck or Heron, but being a relative newbie, I'm loathe to order without knowing my size for sure. Himel suggested I ask on FL if anyone who lives in South Florida (Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area) might be up for letting a stranger handle and try on their jacket. I just can't bring myself to spend this kind of money sight unseen and unhanded, not even knowing for certain if I'm a 36 or 38. So if anyone is in South Florida, has a Canuck or a Heron, in 36 or 38, I'd LOVE to meet up briefly, just so I can try it on. I WOULD BE INDEBTED to you. Thanks for any help you can offer...
Do you have any jackets at all that you like the measurements of? Also, do you know your actual body measurements? This makes a huge difference. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try that if no one from Florida replies. I thought that except for the "Made" section on the website, they wouldn't have any others since most of the business seems custom, but I never asked specifically.
yes i know both, and I'm fairly certain I'm a 36, but for that kind of money and no ability to return, I need to hold the item, feel the leather, and experience the fit. Maybe it's asking too much, but the fit of leather jackets seems more intangible than the number size. I may not even like the way a Himel Canuck that "fits" me fits, if that makes sense.Do you have any jackets at all that you like the measurements of? Also, do you know your actual body measurements? I get what you're saying. I gave David exactly the measurements I wanted for the jacket and it could not fit better, but I have had a decent amount of trial and error from previous jackets.yes i know both, and I'm fairly certain I'm a 36, but for that kind of money and no ability to return, I need to hold the item, feel the leather, and experience the fit.
