Crwritt,i know that you posted some pics in your freddies previously but they were really small & i couldn't see them very well.You have the same waist & hip measurements as me so i was wondering if it's not too much trouble,could you please post another pic of you wearing them?If you could please wear the striped top with them i would be forever grateful as i am nearly the same size in the bust as well.

Swingal,thanks for the pics of the retrospec'd jeans,they look good.Unfortunately they seem to only be selling limited stock on their site at the moment & the jeans aren't on there.Do you remember approx. how much they are perchance?

I love my ivory Heyday trousers!! They make my waist look teeny tiny and I don't show any tummy if I tie a blouse in at the waist.

I didn't even realise you were wearing that shirt until you blew up the pic lol
I think my thighs are much bigger than yours,you look really slim in the leg .

I know Fleur gets trousers there (and is modelling them on the site) and she wears at least a 34 inseam.

Coincidence - I just got a chocolate brown pair from them, but I've not worn them yet when I ordered they were on alteration vacation so decided to order and do it myself. I have 2 workhorse pair of high-waisted from Vivien of Holloway, but these seem equally nice.

Here are some better pictures. By the way, if you really like them, I'd be happy to sell you both the top and jeans. They do look cute, but I really haven't found myself wearing them, so I guess they're not "ME". As for the thigh measurement, my upper thigh measures 22", the original measurement of the upper thigh on the pants is 29".
I have taken them in 2" in that area, tapering to the knee. Nothing that can't be undone.

Thankyou for the lovely offer ,that's very generous of you but i just went & measured the biggest part of my thigh(gulp!)& it's 35 inches:eek: oh dear!I have become a bit slack with my exercise in the last 6 months so i'm a bit chunky at present:eusa_doh: so i'm thinking that these style of jeans might not be very flattering on me unfortunately ,but thankyou so much for the pics & the thigh measurements too this has helped me immensely .Maybe when i have lost some weight i can consider this style again.:)

I came across these high waisted trousers in a shop in Stoke on Trent, a great WWII shop on London Road ww2quartermaster, they are mens German Navy trousers, £14.99, they look better in real life than in the photo.
I'm a sucker for buttoned up trousers, they're going to be great for the summer, as they're a cotton twill, my other Navy trousers are wool so a bit hot for the warm weather.
