Aero's cafe racer made from the buco j-100 pattern is real nice. I got one in their VHH and it is a real nice buy all aroune.

Good point Edward, even Urban Outfitters is slinging those souvenir jackets. The idea is cool but I would never have the stones to wear that around. Somebody, somewhere can pull it off I'm sure. I think it'd be cool to see the body done in hair on hide too. I know DH toyed with it on a Brimaco remake.

I've never wanted to be taken for ex-military, which is what would put me off (not something that has ever happened, or is likely to, when wearing repop issue or surplus stuff). Some of them are interesting designs, though. It's interesting that they're primarily being marketed for women.

Hair on hide looks cool. When I was at Aero in 2014, Murray showed me somed cracking black and white hair on hide stuff that was earmarked for front panels on a J106 that was going to Japan. They look amazing.... my concern is that over time the hair would wear off.... ?

The latest high street trend I'm seeing are jackets in a Perfectoish design, but maded from (imitation) shearling. I'd wear the hell out of one of those if I found the right deal.
