HELP!!!

I picked up a Dobbs yesterday after Church at the Goodwill. It is a 7 1/8th. Grey, feels like fur of some sort, has a tag in it that says "long oval" the brim is 1 3/4 inches and has no finishing on the edge, just rounded, the top (is that the crown?) tapers down toward the front and the back, it has a crease all the way front to back, and is "pinched" in the front on either side. (I saw a trillby in my search, sort of looks like that) The band is 5 rows of twisted shiny grey cording, with a "strap" covering where the ends come together of the same material as the hat. There is a feather on it, mostly grey with a red center.

No markings under the band, could not find any sort of makers tag in it. Anyone have any idea what it is, and how much it is worth? I cannot wear it, but I did not want to leave it in the store. Someone on here might like it, and I am very reasonable.

yes, except it does not have the edge on the brim. The edge on the one I have is just plain,no "finish " at all, just rounded a bit.

thank you, but I do not wear hats except on the weekend. (work part time, have to wear a uniform with a stupid trucker hat that doesn't fit right, so I wear no hat)

On weekends, depending on what I am doing, either a Beret (Veterans stuff)
a leather Ascot worn backwards, (biker stuff)
felt cowboy with a Charlie Daniels brim shape (if it is raining or real sunny)
a leather cowboy with a Charlie Daniels brim shape, it is sort of suede but with more body, for going out to eat in a not fancy place,
and around the house, a ratty 30 year old engineer hat with a Harley patch on it that my wife absolutely hates, or one of many baseball types, not my favorite but I am a goodwill sucker for a decent hat with a good saying or patch.

probably should have put this in the WAYWT thread, but it is another post...getting closer to being a regular member...lol
