Unfortunately its blocked at work so Ill check it out tonight when I get home.
Well, given that the catalog is 50 years old, they might not honor that price.

yeah that pecos one looks about perfect. I cant find many like that..I guess itll have to be custom
Most telescope westerns I see now are "gambler" style = like Stevie Ray Vaugh & Ronnie Van Zant.
You can luck into an old open crown western on ebay that you can easily crease to a telescope.
Or just see if a western store will get an open crown western

Thanks for the help GTDean! Ill check out Ebay and see what they have. How do you crease these hats? Steam? Its hard to find a western store down here so I may have to look into custom alternatives.

Really? If this fit me and I paid $150 for it Id be really happy.Sorry to say that a small size and short brim is not likely to fetch $100.
unfortunately I don't think there is any way you could get anywhere near $100 for that hat
maybe $50 is someone is looking for a narrow brim Biltmore
for that size probably less actually
go for it ... put it up for sale
I 'd bet my house that no one goes near that hat for $100
I've spent a good amount of time buying and selling hats ... just being honest
I'm thinking of working out a deal with brno for the $100. How many bedrooms. . . ?go for it ... put it up for sale

you might get lucky ... give it a shot
I'm not arguing with you. I just want to know why that hat is worth much more than the one I purchased.
I mainly wanted to know the name so I could buy one that fits, so thanks.
I don't know ... I can't open the link...
but I'll assume without seeing it that it is
1. a brand new hat
2. a larger size
and 3. it probably is not flying off the hat shop shelves either
to sell a used hat at a lucrative profit for the seller it has to be something desirable and in demand ... which is usually hats pre 1960s ... wider brims... originally sold open crown... higher crown ... etc
I am not a Biltmore expert but that does not strike me as a hat in demand
looks to be probably 1970s ? ... or even later maybe
just not going to demand high dollars
go for it ... put it up for sale
