Hi guys,
I was at the NYC Inspiration event last weekend, with lots of heritage US and Japanese vendors. I noticed that many had an early/mid forties jacket that really caught my eye. Problem is that they didn't have my size, and I didn't catch the style name.
It's a cropped (read:short) and fitted structured wool or kersey jacket, with a zipped, hand warmer pockets and a zipped fob watch pocket on the outer top left. This jacket is super sturdy and rigid, easily matching the weight of a kersey wool peacoat from a similar era. At a push, I'd say it even works as a medium winter coat. I recall 'Doubleware' on the label, but can't seem to find anything online about this brand ...
So, does anyone know the jacket I am talking about? I'd love to hunt one down.
Thanks,
Luke
