Hi guys, my first post here.

I bought this fedora in the Philippines and I'm trying to find some fedoras here of a similar material. Would any of you know where I can get one like it? It got stained and I can't get the stain out. :(

I know I'm replying to an old post... but...

These are the most common hats sold here. I don't even think it's real straw. Looks and feels synthetic in my opinion. I see a lot of these being sold in malls and even outside stalls. They go for about less than $2.00 as far as I know. If you bought it here for a lot more, you might have been duped - sorry.

I am a bit surprised no one responded to this with the obvious questions in return. Most hat makers will put some type of information on the inside of a hat. There may be a liner with info or a sweat band with info or a tag with info behind the sweat band. There you might get a material lsiting.

It's a "straw" type hat a stingy brim commuter type (reminds me of Dashing Dan the LIRR mascot guy) in the US stingy brims are becoming more and more available and are seen at trendy youth oriented clothing shops. See if there is a local hat shop first look at mail order and the trendy clothing stores around town. You may have to wait to closer to summer to see if they bring out straw versions. Check Ebay too.
