Help me date these NOS spade sole shoes

A lucky eBay find I received about a week ago. The seller guessed these as 40s shoes, but I'd really rather have those in the know date them. If someone can also id the maker, I'd be delighted.

Sadly, the pair won't fit me and is available is anyone's interested. Size seems to be 7D.

Thanks, gents! I knew I could trust TFD.

Twill, inside measurements are: width on heel 6½cm, width on arch of foot 5½cm, length from heel to toe 28cm, width on ball of foot 8cm.

I've treated the pair with Peckard's and Chelsea Leather Food.

Thanks, Ville. They are a bit too narrow for me. Damn my ridiculously wide feet!

Hard to call ANY size 7 "ridiculously wide", I'd say. Don't complain, there are a TON of vintage shoes that fall in that range and are unwearable for so many of us Bigfoots (like my 8's)!
