Howdy Square, welcome to the forum!

I doubt very highly that your trousers are military for several reasons:

1) The waist cinch in the rear is very rusty, indicating steel. Most, if not all military metals for cinches, etc. are brass or some other metal which is not very prone to rusting.
2)The system of a strap in both the front and back for tightening the waist is more European than American and it isn't even similar to the British system as used on many of their trousers. (pic attached for reference)
3) Military trousers will ALWAYS have matching colors for the thread; yours sports black thread on a green fabric.
4) The metal stud-type buttons ARE military-like but again, because they are highly rusted it seems more aftermarket.
5) A total lack of a sewn tag or printed label, unless you either missed it or neglected to post photos.

That said, you can still sell them to a collector or a prop master putting together costumes for a play/video/movie production.

Good luck!

6) After WWII, many manufacturers made use of super-cheap surplus materials to make clothing, primarily for camping, hunting and working in a factory setting, I believe that is what these trousers are.
