Help me choose new ties

I need fresh eyes, I think. I will post pics of my ties, but I am wanting to get three or four new ones. Heard a lot of good things about www.thetiebar.com, that there ties are as good as Jos A Bank or better but are only $15.00. I think I may need a navy or royal blue, a red, maybe a new pink and a yellow. You can tell me if my ties tend to go one way or another or if I am deficient on business conservative ties

I am thinking once you see them you can know. I will ask about new ties after the pics

I am trying to pair something new with medium grey suits
first has a blue faint line
second a red
and third is a grey herring bone
all are a medium grey, not charcoal

So, if you don't mind, go to thetiebar.com and tell me if you like the royal pindot tie, the red biz tie, and a pink or yellow tie
or make suggestions by posting to a link of a tie you like there
or critique what sort of ties I need to be looking at (Pindots, grenadine, or what have you)

thanks

I do not own a lot of modern ties, but from what I've gathered in the Guide to Classic Men's Dress is that the subtle characteristics of a tie can match those in a suit. For instance your top suit has a blue windowpane pattern, then the tie's secondary color can be blue, be it stripes, dots or other pattern.

Having said that, I love a good green tie with a herringbone pattern, but nothing too bright.

Honestly, those are some fine suits and I think you'd do better shopping at Mountain And Sacket. They have amazing ties, pricey yes, but they are top notch hand made in the US.

Of course as my signature states, I could be wrong, anyone else have opinions.

Thanks for that, I've never heard of them before - I'm glad to support NYC manufacturing as an excuse to pay too much for a really nice tie...

From what you have shown you do not own a single grey tie. I think a grey tie is an important part of any tie wardrobe as it looks a bit more formal than other colours and can be used to dress up a suit. Plus they would go nicely with your grey suits, especially the first one (think Cary Grant in North by Northwest).
