Hello everyone! There is a Lord Biltmore for sale near me and needed help figuring out when it’s from. The photos are limited so I apologize for that but I couldn’t find any info online on how to date these caps. The only thing I found was the patent number from the sweat band dates back to 1935. I’m not sure how long they were used after that though. Any help is greatly appreciated!

My guess would be mid to late 50's, based on the liner tip protector and general dimensions. The Carter sweatband has a Canadian patent, so made in Canada when Biltmores were "bilt" better than when production moved to the U. S.
Biltmore isn't the most collectable brand here on the Lounge, but that doesn't mean that yours isn't a dang fine looking hat.

Much appreciation on the response! It’s not mine but it is for sale on FB MARKETPLACE near me so I was thinking of picking it up. I was hoping for something 30/40s made so I think I’ll pass on it. But I do greatly appreciate the help!
