Help Dating DB 3 pc Suit Please

Hi! I received this suit the other day and am looking for assistance please in figuring out when it was made.
I have taken quite a few photos of it ( over 50 which are all posted on my website) but will only put a few here so I don't take up too much space.
The blue in the first photo is more accurate to the colour of the suit. For some reason my phone camera seemed to wash out the blue to a much lighter colour.
The only label is the Cadillac Clothes label, looks like there might have been one in that pocket but has been removed.

I'm sure someone here has more skill than me, but to my eyes it looks from mid 30s to mid 40s.
Mostly because of the shape of lapels, button stance (note bottom row of buttons aligned with the pockets) and the cut of trousers, which seems to be straight and not tapered.
Since there's not a side view of trousers I may be completely wrong and the suit could be younger than it appears, but in my experience late 40s and 50s double breasted had generally straighter lapels and lower button stance.

Ah, and also double breasted suits with a waistcoat were extremely rare in the second half of 1940s, so that's another reason for an earlier date.

Thank you for the photos, they actually made me think the suit is more from 40s than 30s. In fact, trousers are not straight cut from the knee but taper quite evidently.
I don't know if this is a later alteration (not really uncommon), but if they were originally cut in this way, then the suit was likely born around the middle of 40s.

I'd wager late 30's - early 40's. The double-button fastening on the front of the trouser and the wide waistband suggests an earlier date to me, but that jacket could have been made at any point before button stances started to droop post-war.

Given how much inlay there is in the side seam of the trouser, I suspect they were tapered at a later date. Several of my suits came to me that way, and had to have their full majestic trouser width restored.

I tried to take as many pictures as possible to show everything about the suit. Are there any key details required for dating that I neglected to photograph?
I intend on selling it and would like to make my listing as clear and honest as I can.

Canadian tailors generally ran a few years behind US and UK styles, so I'd say more likely it's on the '40s side of the line.
