Help date these Florsheim shoes

7 eyelets is a dead give away for the 50s.

I've been doing a little research on this recently, and I have to disagree. The following images come from the Vintage Ad Browser they all show seven eyelet shoes, and none of them are from the 50's. In fact, I couldn't find a single ad on that site from the 1950's that depicted seven eyelet shoes:
