Hat sponsor

The question "how many hats is too
many?" has been a topic discussed before.
However, to that topic, should there
be a Lounge Sponsor, sort of like AA,
the guy to call when you want to buy
a hat and there's hardly room in the closet
for the ones you already have. (Most of which
we don't wear, incidentally. We have one head.)
I am going through withdrawl now,
delaying the purchase of a Churchill
classic stingy brim in brown when I
haven't even worn the newly added
classic Churchill sting brim in black!
Perhaps a wife's furrowed brow would
help, but I am not married.
What do you think?
Am I alone in this?

The Lounge is sort of a virtual support group....but NOT to keep you FROM acquiring too many hats!
We are here to SUPPORT the hat industry, custom as well as factory makers & vintage resale....
You have a black hat, so you need a brown one & a light grey one & a silverbelly one & wider ribboned one & wider brimmed one...
To have somebody to call to keep you from buying more hats is just pure, plain crazy talk....

Now, go get that Churchill!!!

Uh yeah, Tom's got it about right.

For those with a significant other, when my wife furrows her brow I remind her of her shoes, purses, jewelry purchases, etc. She's actually quite tolerant!:D

Go ahead and order it: it's always fun to have something in the mail and to have a new hat. By the way, I love the sentence, "We have one head."

For those of you without a wife, this should suffice:

To Hatophile...
Years back a local radio show threw open
the mic to women and where they hide
newly purchased shoes so their husband
would be sure not to find them. And in
a week or two they could start wearing
such shoes saying, "These? Oh,
they're not new. You must not remember
them."
Caches included: The trunk of their car,
the attic behind Christmas decorations,
and cabinets in the kitchen no man
would think to open.

Never gonna work!
I take that back. If we put together groups of the same hat size then it stands a really good chance of success.

You post the address and your max bid or offer on the hat you want, but really do not need, and one of your "support" group goes and buys it out from under you. Problem solved.

I'll be happy to help any of you 7 1/4 types who are troubled by a hat with 2 1/2 inch or more bound edge brim hats. PM me, I'll fix it.

My home is a hat and clothing repository but, I'm still buying. I dunno, I think it's like collecting wearable art. I have hats new in box, many, never worn, but I keep convincing myself they will all be worn at some time, and they will. SOOOOO, I can't offer any advice. Where's that Churchill?
