Hat size question BDU caps to Fedora's

I would just measure your head size currently. Not only is the original measurement possibly wrong, but hat size can change with haircut, etc. For instance you might have been a 7 1/4 with your head shaved during boot but you might have longer hair now and need a larger hat size.

So here is how to measure your hat size:

1. Measure around your head about 3/4 of an inch above ear where your hat will be worn.
(A cloth tape measure such as a seamstress or tailor uses is ideal.)
It is usually helpful to have someone help you.
2. Pull the tape tight to measure within 1/8".
3. Read off the number and use the chart below to determine your hat size.


That's the way it's done. Simple!
