That is the movie. Dean Martin was in the remake. This one had John Wayne, Robert Mitchum and Jame Caan. I will have to PM you for some info. I put on an old time medicine show and would love to have one like it.

Oh, and Dr Trinidad you are right, the movie with John Wayne, James Caan, and Robert Mitchum was called El Dorado. However, IT was a remake of Rio Bravo, which had John Wayne, Ricky Nelson, and Dean Martin. I don't remember if Ricky Nelson wore a hat like that, but I just watched El Dorado last week and James Caan definitely was wearing one.

I agree with Fletch's comments. For me, 2 1/2" brim, high crown, no taper in colors other than medium brown and medium gray.
