I had to post this, as no one else seems to have done so...but everyone, HAPPY NEW YEARS!

We all here in our home, wish everyone that this new year will be the best ever and that you may have a wonderful, prosperous life filled with happiness!

So as my Husband would say, WEEEEE! Happy New Years everybody!

Happy New years!!!


A New Years party at the Fedora Lounge. Walk in the the door and a pretty little thing takes your hat and coat. A big band is set up on stage and swinging Chattanooga Choo Choo. The place is filled. All the regulars are here, as well as some new folks, everyone dressed to the 9's. The joint is dressed up for New Years, with streamers hangin' from the lights and spotlights criss crossing the room and party favors on every table. Looking around the room is almost like seeing the History of the world for the last 100 years. Flapping 20's over in the corner. Dapper 30's next to them. Dashing 40's across from the stage, cool 50's in the front. Is that the Rat Pack? Those boys sure know how to croon. The joint is jumpin', the joint is jumpin',,,,,,Happy New Years, folks.

The Lounge was packed with well-wishers and revelers. Men dressed in Black Tie or their Sunday Best. Women wearing whatever made them look the most dazzling on such a special occasion. At the back, the bar serves champagne. The stage at the far end of the room is occupied by the Fedora Lounge House Orchestra, playing popular hits of the interwar era. The room is lit with candles. Couples dance on the dance-floor in front of the stage, while others sit down to dinner at one of the several round tables scattered throughout the ballroom.

Up above, streamers and balloons are everywhere. A mirror-ball spins above the dance-floor, scattering rays of golden candlelight everywhere.
