I asked hubby what the Army guys got today in the way of festivities. He had to work today but here is the report from Baghdad: "They didn't do much really. Just cakes, crappy wood cut outs of eagle and Army symbol, American flag. Same food presented differently - barbeque ribs in bad sauce they always have. I dunno I just think they coulda done more."
He also says thank you all for any well wishes.

Being in Los Angeles, I must ask - what is a firework? Fireworks are banned in Los Angeles (unless you go to some event like the Hollywood Bowl).
