Hey folks, I'm clearing out some things from my collection that I either don't wear that often, or have gotten to big for me (my loss is your gain).Since business school keeps me pretty busy, pdxvintagette has kindly agreed to sell them for me in her vintage store (modeled by the Fedora lounge's own Anon.). I'll be posting direct links, with brief descriptions of the particular items, here over the next few weeks, so make sure to check back regularly. I'll be selling some suits, sport coats, tuxedos, and Hawaiian shirts. Hopefully all of your vintage addictions can help support mine ;)

Here's some ties:

So these are all in really good shape - just ask folks who know me IRL, I'm totally OCD about condition!

1930's "Manhattan" label Brown paisley tie.

1940's "Arrow" label Brown paisley tie.

1940's "Beau Brummel" label silver w. red & blue brocade tie. SOLD - thanks Fedoragent!

1940's "Wilson Wear" label medium blue w/. white & red tie.
This one is SUPER wide!!!

1950's Spiders & Spider webs novelty print tie. No label. Blue w/. red and white spiders & webs!!!

Also, the DB gabardine suit, 50's flannel suit, and 50's tweed sports coat are still available. I'm leaving for Viva Las Vegas in 7 days, and some extra scratch would be awesome, so if you see something you like, but feel like a little haggling, get in touch!

Cheers,
Guttersnipe

Yo Gsnipe...I was wondering if you were old enough to remember the good ol' days when stylish folks dressed like that in the city. I don't mean c. 1940-1960 either.

Ha, you mean the '88-'98 rockabilly/swing/retro revival? I'm about five-ten years to young, but I am familiar with lots of the folks who are still around from back them. A few friends from "generation cohort" caught the tail end of that in their late teens, but I was into different subcultures back then (all us punk rockers liked to date rockabilly girls, though lol)

Here's me around 2000 or 2001:
