Got my Fed IV today about one week from the order date. My first impression is wow this is a quality hat. This is also my first bash.

That Federation looks great on you! Nice job on the bash.

The brim can look a bit too big on some people (myself included), but it suits you well!

Like Pera.T said above - the Federation looks good on you.

I got my first Fed IV a week ago, also in the Carbon Grey. They really are awesome hats aren't they? :)

Now I'm looking at saving a bit of money to be able to get the brown one next! And I told myself I would only get the one hat... ;)

Great looking hat! I've been wanting to buy that exact same color... Those pics may just be what makes me take the next step!

You will grow to love the Fed IV more and more.

What bash looks best on any particular head is highly subjective and personal--and yours looks fine as is--but I think you could improve the appearance by taking a bit of the crown height out by putting a deeper center dent in or maybe a telescope to keep it off the top of your head.

Tip: Make sure the range burners on the GE are off and cool when using it as a photographic hat stand!

I was thinking of taking more off the top but my head is tall and if I go further it starts to look like a center crease
