My jacket collection is benefitting from a lot of dumb luck, and I cannot begin to pretend that I know much about the details of this jacket, but the russet Indian goatskin is very slightly heavier and thicker than the Horween horsehide of my GW Hercules. I am told it has all accurate details to the contract including reproduction M-42 Talon with vintage Talon slider, vintage United-Carr snaps in the pockets, and correct lining, knits, and thread color.
I really like the shape of the pockets, color of the purple-brown knits, and of course the shape of the collar. I think it may be my best fitting jacket and it is very comfortable.
