I don't follow auctions much, but the Fairbanks results appear lackluster. The jewelry seemed to attract the higher bidding. A problem with clothes auctions, the clothing and hats price results, is that stuff is of a certain size, so a lot of people are not qualified prospects for the items.
I suspect this auction is a leftovers sale from the estate, with most of the really good stuff already bequethed away, or picked up by family and friends... not to be seen for sale... essentially the stuff that no one on the inside wanted.
