Upstaging "The Donald", or Melania may shorten her career. Good for her.
How in God's name does one walk in shoe like those ⇧.
I'd point out that the shirt and suit patterns don't really work together (too similar and too close in scale), but I don't think that is the point of this picture (just like I won't point out that the tie knot is too loose).
That's right.[/
Beyond style- I wear men's clothing often because it's better. It's just made so much better, even than women's vintage clothing. And, certainly higher quality than most modern made apparel.
Plus I used to find wonderful men's clothing in such small sizes it didn't fit most of my male customers but it fit me. I'm hooked.
Vita Sackville-West from "Portrait of a Marriage" - Such style!
...but a guy wearing women's clothes is a weirdo.
I think a man wearing women's clothing is fab! Especially if they go out of their way to do their makeup right.
If you haven't watched the movie titled Coco before Chanel, you ought to, you will love that movie, she truly was a wonderful character. Based on that movie, it seems like her ideas were not welcomed immediately, yet she still changed the world of fashion, she is my hero, such an inspiration!Part of the genius/success of Coco Chanel was her ability to translate her personal enjoyment of the "simplicity" of men's clothing (versus the insanely fussy and structured design of women's clothes of the times) into fashionable clothes for women. Her clean lines were more than a visual/style change but where also a transformation in how women approached dressing and thought about the fit and comfort of clothes. Her impact can be seen in the simple garments of the flappers versus the hoop-skirt, multiple-layered clothes of their mothers. It's cool that part of her inspiration came from her enjoyment and understanding of the benefits of men's clothes.
That stance alone speaks to an impressive and attractive confidence - the clothes only emphasize it.
