Wayne, Really great to see a Japanese market JHS. It's a really fantastic Alpha Velour. Would it be possible to take a sharper photo of the paper label? This is definitely a unique paper label format. Having the descriptions in English is very helpful.

Wayne, I don't believe I have encountered a Polish market JHS before. I wonder if it was made or came out of the JHS Skoczów, Poland factory (became PolkaP)? It's a great looking Prima Velour. Really like the color and finish. It has a Type 2 paper label.

Wayne, Super! This is a fantastic "NOVA" Velour. I believe the "NOVA" Velour was unique to the French market. Great Velour finish and color. Also great form and wide Band / Bow. It's possible that it's later 1920s early 1930s. The paper label is a Type 8.

Wayne, Thank you posting this B.B. "Ultima" too. I don't have record of it. It's a super looking Back Bow Velour.
I also have this B.B. "Ultima" that I got from Panos. Not sure why I put later 1930s. It could be based on the paper label. I will have to look into this again.

These hats are amazing. And they didn’t make any in size Sputnik (64) long oval? Is it even possible for hatmakers to find the same quality felt these days?
It's on its way to Denmark right now. The P&C Habig homburg I posted here recently prompted Steve @Steve1857 right away to ask me to get that one for him, which I did. After its arrival I took some pictures of it and sent it on to Denmark.

Took me a while to jump on this one. Shame on me, because these rarely show up. Finally put in an offer and it was accepted.
Blum velours fedora hat in black for the French market. Size 56 with the raw edge brim at 6cm and the crown at a imposing 12cm at the center dent. I have another Blum hat and that made me hesitate, but if this quality comes along you have to get it. There seem to be some differing opinions on Blum. The 150 year existence of the Wels Hutfabrik (formerly Carl Blum) was celebrated this year, which would date them to 1874. Their advertising had 1834 as the year of origin though. Could be they were founded in 1834 and had the factory built in 1874. It was in operation until 1935 under the management of Carls' son Robert Blum. His daughter Roberta Blum inherited the already closed factory and bequeathed it to the Catholic Church in 1967.
No labels under the sweatband unfortunately. Fairly lightweight for a velour: 124 grams.
It works well both as a fedora style with the brim down as a more "camber" style with the brim up.
