J. Hückel´s Söhne Alpha Seal Velour. This one is tiny but a rare + fantastic light color Velour. I would say 1930s and in very good condition. The felt, liner and sweatband coordinate color wise. I could not find a paper label but I didn't look closely because I didn't want to damage the sweatband.

Thanks! I didn't get the Borsalino box because I wasn't sure it was original to the hat (also greatly reduced the shipping cost).

It might even be smaller.

Wow didn't see that one! I have never seen a "Incroyable" before. You can see through the sides of the liner. Great Melone and case!

Gorgeous velour, Steve!! Its a shame that its too small to wear, but its sure pretty to look at! I love everything about this hat, especially the high flange in back coupled with the flat/straight flange in front. Just another stunning example of Huckel's incredible velours. 1 7/8 inches?? That's very interesting. Is there any indication that the brim was trimmed at one time? I've never seen a 30's hat with a brim that's less than 2 inches wide (though 1 7/8 is pretty close to 2 inches [huh])

It measures ~ 53cm so tiny. I am sure it's a men's hat. It probably survived because nobody else could wear it.

Found this great photo while Googling.

"Emperor Wilhelm II, the last German Kaiser and King of Prussia (1859-1941) photographed in November 1902 at a shooting party, organised in his honour by King Edward VII at his country residence, Sandringham House. In this photograph, in a pale blue hunting suit with Tyrolean hat and black cocks’ feathers, his coat is carefully arranged to cover his left arm. What the Emperor had not foreseen, was a servant appearing doorway behind him. Manfred, It's definitely some type of shooting hat but I am not sure about the mentioned Tyrolean orgin. The flange and binding work are amazing. I would love to know who made it.
