It's probably a step above anything produced in America during the same time period. P. & C. Habig made high quality hats until they went out of business in the late 1980s. It's machine blocked so will not be open crown pliable but still very well made. Borsalino was the last (until the early 1980s) to make high quality soft / pliable dress felt hats.
