Chepstow, the brim is much less stiff than a usual Homburg, it could be tampered with, but it feels right.

lecky, It feels right? That could be! But not all Homburger has a stiff brim. It was only a guess from me!
The brim looks mostly so, If you try to make a fedora from them. That declares the wrinkles in the brim!

New Hat arrived. It's a nice Resistol Majestic Centredent from 1961, under licene, my guess it's from Wegener produced! The color is ogden! ( anthracite )
A great stiff felt, wonderful shape and a thick supple leather sweatband. The condition is great, the price 10,50 EUR.
I am not sure if it the right thread for this!

Super! Thanks for posting it! Also too small for me. I would say late 1950s early 1960s.

I found Fred. Meister Nürnberg in "The American Hatter" 1911 Trade Directory. I am still looking through my editions of Deustche Hutmacher-Zeitung.
