I know this isn't anywhere near the Golden Era, but does anyone have experience with this company? I could see myself wearing some of these coats for everyday wear.

Not quite the same, but if you're ever in Aus or otherwise feel like shopping for pre-20thC or subcultural-style clotheses, this company are very well-respected - I saw their work up close at a fashion parade and it's top notch.

Unfortunately, it has me looking at the model on the front page instead of the actual clothes.

Seriously though, the Victorian coat looks really swell. I could see myself wearing that as an overcoat.

I'm none too sure about doing Victorian for everyday wear, but I'd have to say that I like the look of the cassock, it would make an excellent Autumn and winter coat.

Just look at the people around you who wear "outdated" styles here. It's just a matter of being comfortable in it. If you think you're wearing a "costume," people will think you are.

That's a good point; after all, are we dressing to please others or ourselves?
