I have 2 G1 flight jackets for sale. This the first, please see separate thread for the other.
1968 Star Sportswear MFG.CO Contract J-7823D.
Arguably this is the final of the 'good' contracts. The last to have been exclusively made from goat leather and with the real mouton fur collar. Hereafter the jackets were made of embossed cowhide and Dynal 'fur' collars.
The jacket is marked '44'
The actual measurement are:
Pit to pit: 23"
From base of collar to hem 25"
Sleeve from shoulder to end of knits 26.5"
Shoulder: 20"
Overall the jacket is in very good condition, it has some small repairs to the waistband. It is robust and completely wearable.
I'm looking for £180 plus postage.
