G.B.Borsalino Fu Lazzaro & C. <1936

Resurrecting this thread close to the end of the year to post this latest hat I have received. Looks to be a modern "reboot" G.B. Borsalino Fu Lazzaro and C. Interestingly, although it has the newer label for the "reboot" Fu Lazzaro, it does not have any Qualita indication on the hat, as many of the others did. There is no indication that this was made by the Antica Case, either and no tags under the sweatband. The hat is marked "Torino" on the front part of the sweat, similar to 60's era Borsalinos, however. It is also vented. A 2 1/4" Cavanagh Edge brim with a 2" hat band, I hope those more expert than me will make of this what they will. It was sold at Byrnie Utz in Seattle.

Jeff, Thanks! Yes, I understand your hesitance but super that you were able to get a photo of the paper label. Also very interesting to see how the Liner edge is secured to the felt. Are the strips made of cork? It's a real beauty!

Found an auction for this object (so not mine). Out of my comfort zone pricewise, but interesting that it survived at all. Just for posterity.

Odd how these things seem to work. Having spotted the previous one another one turns up. At first I thought it was the same box, but it's a different design. Also not mine.
