G-1 Jacket Check

[G-1_USN_USMC_USCG]

Shipmates,
I saw this jacket advertised as a 1951 vintage. From what I have been able to determine, it was more likely produced and issued between 1965-1966. Just wanted to see if you agreed with me. Nice jacket...just advertising is a bit off (if I am correct).

1966, C-Series Star. IMO, one of the last of the really good G-1s.

That's as good as it gets if you're looking for a vintage G-1! Probably fits more like a size 44. These jackets always ran a size down.

Larger size G-1 jackets always fetch more; sometimes it depends on who's selling it and where you find it; e-bay has been referred to as "greed-bay" while some lucky guys find a vintage G-1 in a local used clothing store or flea market for less than $100. Good luck!
