(Almost) full collection

Inspired by Bowlerman's latest contribution to this cool thread I'm submitting my collection for your inspection. The first pic showcases my all-time favorites among my vintage hats, with more vintage hats in the second pic and my VS felts and VS Montecristi Panamas in the third and forth, respectively.

Very impressive, Rabbit - I love your hat collection.

I can see I'm going to have to work a similar concept at some point with my hats.

Thanks to you (and to Jeff) for the idea :)

Rabbit, nicely done, and an impressive collection! I gotta say your Stetson Vogue and Resistol kitten finish 20 in sand have me kind of fixated. And of course the VS silverbelly with green-grey ribbon... sweeeeet.
Thank you for posting the new catalogue to which I will be referring for future hat orders! ;)

Can't wait to see what you come up with, David!

I have said it before but have to say it again: I admire all of you who have such consistent style. I must just get too moody sometimes, and change hats accordingly, from westerns to bowlers to classic fedoras, and everything in between. Danofarlington, I kind of wish I had fewer than 20 really nice ones, but I don't see myself "thinning the herd" willingly anytime soon... it just seems like too much work for the probable return.

Well, thanks to the inspiration from Jeff and Rabbit, I finally took the time to get some photos of my hat collection. Of course it is a dynamic thing, there are always some that are leaving and new ones arriving, but this is what I have today - other than a couple that are at the office.

Top Row: Vintage Disney milan, Knox boater, Vintage Royal Stetson Panama

I took the photos in one session, indoors but in natural light. On my calibrated monitors the colours look about right - other than the Playboy which is more green that it appears here.

Such very impressive collections, gents. Jeesh! Thanks a bunch for posting all those inspirational pics.

In a way, it's nice to realize that I could never reach that level of "hatitude." I'll just relax with my beaters and enjoy the view from way down here.
:)

What a great collection, David! Thanks for taking the time to put together these standardized shots. I'll just have to add standardized pics with the vintage hats from my second collage as well.

Great collections! Thanks for taking the time to put together the collages. They make a great reference for comparing some of the hats. Happy 4th.

I finally got around to taking the remaining standard pics of my vintage hats collection (only the Milan is missing). My only Optimo/Chicago is also included in this collage. I had a lot of fun handling all these different felts right after one another. Some of the pics have already been used for the first collage posted earlier this year.
