Love those! How does it fit you compared to that colorado 40? The pit to pit on that colorado seems a tight 40 and this seems a loose 42. What is your chest?

You nailed it. Im cursed at being a true 41 apparently. This 42 is definitely loose on me, but very comfortable easy to wear in all seasons. The 40 Colorado, I may actually keep as by some miracle today it fit very well. Almost like it magically decided to break in and soften up sitting in the closet.

Is your Vanson 42 jacket still available?

BTW—Vanson's BANDIT jacket (now a discontinued model) had the nickel/chrome color hardware but no belt loops. Their CHP jacket comes with the belt loops that your jacket has but with brass color hardware standard. Your jacket appears to be the CHP jacket design but with the nickel/chrome hardware as a custom feature.

I'm new to FedoraLounge so I'm wondering how sales among members take place…are they conducted on 'the honor system' except for what payment/purchase protection PayPal affords the seller and buyer?

Hi Don,

Welcome to the lounge. Yes indeed most sellers conduct business directly through PayPal. You can use the invoice system or use the friends and family method. I’ve conducted business with many members here and never had a problem. Typically using the invoice system you should add about 3% to the agreed purchase price to cover PayPal fees. I can also tell you that @jpk_NJ is a very trustworthy seller as I bought a near brand new Vanson from him some months back. Hope this helps.

This one actually fits / drapes extremely well. The best shape of any Vanson Ive had. Or just that its had the most wear and doesn't feel like armor. Still heavy duty but it doesn't feel like the jacket is wearing you. I just wish this one had brass hardware..... getting away from the chrome bling in my old age
